This old well is located at the Colwell House - 141 Cleveland Street. Built sometime between 1918 and 1921, this house was used as a residence, tea room, and early B&B by Eula Colwell; it is now used as a law office by granddaughter Robbie Colwell Weaver. The building features a stone foundation; square wood columns on stone bases across the front proch; and original wood windows with three narrow panes of glass over one large pane. The old well stands as a reminder of the days before city water was available in Blairsville.
