Union County Commissioner Lamar Paris and Blairsville Mayor Jim Conley sign the joint proclamation declaring May 2006 as Historic Preservation Month.

The DDA works closely with other organizations including the Union County Historical Society, the Blairsville Union Chamber of Commerce, the City of Blairsville, and Union County Government to ensure that revitalization includes preserving the historical integrity of the downtown area.
