on the Square
in Downtown
Blairsville. From
1:00 p.m. to
6:00 p.m. there
are fun
things for the
whole family
to see and do!
Things
get started
with open
houses at the
Mountain Life
Museum and
Historic Courthouse where
visitors can
see beautiful,
old-fashioned
decorations.
Pictures with
Santa and refreshments
are also part
of the festivities.
A
highlight of
Christmas on
the Square,
the parade starts
at 4:00 p.m. Floats, horses,
antique cars,
and Santa's
sleigh provide
many photo
opportunities
as it travels
along the
streets of
Blairsville.
There
will also be
a convenient
gift item drop-off
for the Mayor's
Christmas Motorcade outside the
Historic Courthouse.
Let's not forget
those less fortunate!
Around
5:15 p.m.
the whole
community
gathers
on the Historic
Courthouse lawn
to sing Christmas
carols and watch
the Christmas
Tree Lighting
Ceremony. Everyone
is invited to
catch the Christmas
Spirit in Downtown
Blairsville!
